NEW YEAR NEW ME

The New Year is a great time to reflect on the changes we want to or need to make. If you’re a student looking at ways to improve yourself and make the transition to college easier, International College Counselors offers a few more resolutions you might want to add to your list.

All of us have their own new year’s resolution. Just like me I have my own resolution in life. We all know that high school life is the most memorable moment in our life. Being a high school student I know that  I’m not that student who is responsible when it comes in passing assignments and projects.  I plan to recycle and improve my grades. I also plan to pass all my requirements, assignments and projects before the deadline.  I sure and hope I can make this.

My Reflection

I observed that my grades in 2nd quarter are higher than my grades in 1st grading. I am happy because all of my grades are move higher.  And I am expecting that this coming 3rd quarter my grade will be higher than my grades in 1st and 2nd quarter because I complete all my blogs and past all my assignments at a time.

On this coming 4th  quarter, I will do all my best so that my grades will move higher. And I will study hard so that I can maintain my grades high.

Essence of Christmas

Christmas is about the birth of Jesus “CHRIST”mas, it's about celebrating it with your family. But it's not about presents, material things or any of that but it's the time wherein we enjoy life, and have fun with our friend’s relatives and family members.

       

We celebrate Christmas to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ. We use this time of year to give presents to our loved ones and enjoy our own family traditions. I love Christmas On Christmas Eve my family and I usually have a nice meal. And then at midnight we do the exchange gift. And the next morning we usually go to either grandparents or cousins or uncles and aunts houses for various meals.

Jesus is all about love, sharing and giving. It's not enough that we celebrate this birth with prayers and praises; we need to spread the joy and spirit. I love Christmas time because i get to spend it around family. And family is very important.

CLIMATE CHANGE

The Philippines is considered as one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change. With impacts ranging from extreme weather events and periodic inundation to droughts and food scarcity, climate change has been a constant reality that many Filipinos have had to face.

Most affected are those who are living in the lower areas. Global Warming is something that we all need to be worried about, however there are things that we can do to help prevent and reduce the effects of Global Warming. Like recycling, not burning of plastics that will affect our environment.

Everybody must have self discipline. We must use the 3R's. The reuse, reduce and recycle.

Equal Rights, Equal Opportunities

 

             Everybody have the rights. Rights to grab every opportunity.

As a student, I know that I have the rights for everything. And all of us must have this equal rights and equal opportunities. If I can have this right, I can easily grab my opportunity. And it can easily help me to grab this opportunity.

So we must all have this equal rights and equal opportunities because it can help us a lot.

English

Language

English is one of the most important languages in the world. It can even be said to be the single most important language. Other languages are important too. But not for the same reasons as English is important. English can be used as a language in any part of the world.

As a student, learning about English language is very important. We can use it to communicate with other people. It is the easiest language to use by communicating with others so that they will understand you even though their language is different.

So we must learn and know how to speak English. Because it is really important to learn from it.

My Reflection

      When I entered the portals of my high school life, Internet is the common lesson that I've learned from the subject ICT. But I started to realize many things. Learning about computer is not as easy as I thought it was. I’m not good in operating computer, and this is the reason why I say so.

      Elementary life is so different from high school life. You have to be an independent person and the subjects are more complicated. That is the reason why I recognize learning about computers now is a very challenging subject that needs to be taken seriously.

      By learning and understanding about this subject, you would not have any problem in communicating with other people. In the first place, to learn about subject ICT is so hard for me but I’m willing to learn from it.
